Jerry Bomar is the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director of Callisburg High School in Callisburg, Texas. Coach Bomar is also the Offensive Coordinator and has a gifted passion for developing young quarterbacks, and receivers. His quarterbacks have won many Metro, District, Regional, State, and National Acculades. He took his development of  quarterbacks to the highest level when he trained the nation's #1 high school quarterback, Rhett Bomar, an honor very few coaches in the United States have.
 
Bomar is a graduate of Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas were he was named a Texas High School ALL-STATE FOOTBALL PLAYER. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University (1975) and started his coaching career at Texas Tech as a grauate assistant.
 
His high school coaching experience includes: Mesquite, Texarkana, Atlanta, Addison, Groesbeck, Killeen, and Grand Prarie.
